The Thirsty Hound: Where Dogs Take Their Humans on Vacation. Located in the beautiful Brushy Mountains, NC, we are one of the nation's first campgrounds dedicated exclusively to dogs and adults.

Amenities include: Off-leash parks, a swimming pond, agility courses, and a grooming bathhouse. Our sites offer 30/50 amp service and free Wi-Fi, with select RV sites featuring private fenced yards. No RV? Stay in one of our onsite cabins or rentals!

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

• All campers and their guests/visitors must agree to and abide by our Rules and Policies (see Rules of Play and RV and Site Standards).

• 4 Paws Kingdom caters exclusively to dogs and their two-legged human companions ages 18 and older. No one under 18 is allowed in the campground at any time.

• All reservations will be paid in full at time of reservation.

• We reserve the right to limit the number of dogs and humans per site or rental unit.

• No arrivals are permitted after 8 PM (weekdays) or 9 PM (weekends) . You must make arrangements for arrivals after 6 PM.

• No early arrivals without prior arrangements;  < 2 PM for RV sites or < 3 PM for rental units.

• All canines and humans visiting registered campers must register in the office upon arrival. Visitor fees may apply depending upon duration of stay.

• We recognize that late checkouts may be required on occasion. Each request for late checkout must be made in advance and will be granted on a case by case basis based on campground availability. Additional fees may apply.

• Events may be cancelled or changed at any time with or without prior notification. No refunds or credits will be given due to cancelled events.
